After moving from New York to Florida in 2003, I attended Palm Beach Central High School in Wellington, Florida. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and Criminal Justice and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida. I continued my pursuit of my lifelong career goal of becoming an attorney by attending law school at Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center. During Law School, I was an editor for the International Citator and Research Guide. In the United States, attorneys use a uniform citation guide called the “The Bluebook” to cite to case law, statues, encyclopedias, treatises, etc. However, other countries do not have such guides. As such, I wrote articles that were published in a uniform citation guide called the “Greenbook” to assist attorney’s in European Countries with legal citations. Additionally, I participated in the Transactional Law Group and Florida Association for Women Lawyers. I was also a judicial intern for the Broward County Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Court. In September of 2014, I was inducted into the Florida Bar and began practicing law at a defense firm in West Palm Beach, Florida. I handled a large caseload that included matters involving first party property claims, sinkhole losses and subrogation lawsuits.
